Yoga Teacher Training & Personal Development (200 hrs)

Olive Tree Yoga and Pilates Studio (OTYP) is excited to offer a Yoga Teacher Training and Personal Development Program beginning September 2011.

Our program provides a foundational understanding of the art of yoga for those interested in teaching and those wishing to build their personal knowledge. The training is holistic in its focus, educating students on Hatha Yoga, Practical Nutrition, and Philosophy and Meditation. The program is flexible in its structure, enabling students the time to reflect and cultivate their own teaching style, or if pursuing solely for personal interest, time to integrate the information supported by a knowledgeable professional. Courses may be taken individually. Classes will be held on alternating Friday evenings and one weekend per month.

The hours committed to nutrition and meditation are unique aspects of our program. Learning about the transformative qualities of eating well and living consciously will serve to deepen students’ understanding of yoga, their ability to assist others in their nutritional and meditation pursuits, and benefit one’s personal well-being.

OTYP certification in yoga will equip graduates with the tools needed for proper yoga instruction, a deeper appreciation of the art, and knowledge to support healthy living.
